Old McDonald brought his animals to nursery

A local company called Tiny Hooves Mobile Farm brought their mobile farm to Daisykins nursery in Rugby. This day trip out for the animals was to celebrate National Children's Food Festival week 2014, it was to help teach children where the food that they eat at nursery and home comes from. The farm was set up in our garden using mobile pens, these had to be constructed for the animals. As these animals were waiting patiently in their trailer the children could here the sheep singing to them Baa Baa, this lead to the children joining in singing one of their favourite songs.Slowly the animals were brought into the garden the children watched at the window and were shouting "Pig" "Duck" Sheep", they couldn't wait to go outside and meet the animals. Practitioners took a group of children out one at a time as the two ladies from Tiny Hooves Mobile Farm each gave a talk on each animal.
