Are You Looking For A Nursery In Rugby For Your Baby?

Here in our Baby room at Daisykins Nursery in Rugby practitioners provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for your little one to learn and grow. The age range for our Baby room is nine months to eighteen/twenty months, however we prefer to base this on the individual child and their personal level of development rather than defining them by their age. Therefore this means that if a baby is particularly excelling then they may move across to Toddlers sooner or if a baby is slightly delayed in some areas of development then there is the option to hang on in the Baby room for a little longer. This enables us to support them to progress further in these areas in a smaller group/ratio environment before moving across. The room is set up with low level units and baskets on the floor so that the resources are accessible to the children at all times. We aim to ensure that the resources are of a more natural kind, for example wooden toys and lots of heuristic resources like scarves, bangles, metal objects, wooden bowls etc, for the children to explore. Within the room we also have community play things high chairs and a low level table with mini chairs so that the children are more comfortable and safe during mealtimes and table top activities.[ngg_images source="galleries" container_ids="213" display_type="photocrati-nextgen_basic_slideshow" gallery_width="600" gallery_height="400" cycle_effect="fade" cycle_interval="3" show_thumbnail_link="0" thumbnail_link_text="[Show picture list]" order_by="sortorder" order_direction="ASC" returns="included" maximum_entity_count="500"]Practitioners understand that babies use their five senses to explore their environment and are continuously learning and picking up new skills from those around them so they provide lots of stimulating and sensory based activities. These activities include painting using their full bodies as well as paintbrushes and other media, food play e.g. beans, jelly, mushy peas, gloop and angel delight, and water and sand play plus many more.Although the Baby room does follow the basic nursery routine in some aspects we do adapt it to fit in with the routine and individual needs of the children within the room. This may mean having a sleep at different times of the day therefore we may have to adapt other parts of the day to accommodate these. Our Whitehall Road Daisykins Nursery in Rugby take children from 9 months, so if your looking for a nursery for your precious little one when you return to work, we're a great choice!
